The baby of Mr. Alen, a child barely past infancy, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening form of blood cancer. Just when life had begun, this little fighter was forced into painful chemotherapy sessions, long hospital stays, and endless tests instead of cuddles, toys, and laughter.
Doctors have recommended immediate and intensive chemotherapy, possibly for the next 6 to 12 months, including blood transfusions, antibiotics, and critical supportive care. The estimated cost of treatment is ₹12 to ₹20 lakhs, which is beyond what the family can afford.
Alen, the baby’s father, is doing everything he can to save his child. But the emotional and financial weight is unbearable for a middle-class family with limited income. Every moment delayed is a risk to the baby’s fragile life.
